I added the reference files, rack card, logo, boat photo, and fishing photos for Choose Wisely Fishing Charters.
I also ran a few quick concepts through ChatGPT just to explore the direction. I do not hate them, but I also do not love them yet. They are direction references only — not final templates.
For this client, I think the best direction is going to be:
Less is more. Clean, blue, white, photo-driven, and very sharp.
He is likely going to prefer something much closer to the simple fitness/sports-style templates — bold, minimal, clean, and letting the photos do most of the work.
Overall Visual Direction
Please use:
Blue, white, aqua/teal Clean wavy strokes Minimal text Strong photo placement Bold block headline font Very clean spacing Little to no clutter Simple CTA placement Logo placement that feels clean and intentional
The goal is not to over-design the posts. These should feel like clean, modern fishing charter graphics where the photos are the hero.
Think:
Big fish. Clean headline. Strong phone number. Minimal extras.
This client has extreme attention to detail, especially with the fish photos.
Please take extra care with:
Fish placement Cropping Scale Angle Photo quality Avoiding distorted fish Avoiding awkward cutouts Making sure the trophy fish stay natural and respected
These fish are not just random stock images. They are his trophy catches and a huge part of his brand. If the fish are stretched, warped, poorly cut out, covered by text, or placed in a way that looks unnatural, it will bother him.
Please do not over-edit the fish.
Use the real photos as carefully as possible and let them speak.
What’s Biting Now Redfish & Snook Inshore Action Book Your Trip Private Charters Inshore & Nearshore Day & Night Trips Chase the Bite Less Talk. More Fishing. Call/Text 386-689-9056
Avoid long paragraphs on the graphic.
Captions can carry more information. The graphic should stay clean.
Design Details
Please use the rack card as a brand reference, but simplify it heavily for social media.
From the rack card, keep:
Blue/teal wave language White space Fish logo Charter feel Phone number Website Inshore / nearshore messaging
But reduce:
Too much text Too many competing sections Too many photos per post Overly busy layout Heavy flyer-style design
The posts should not feel like a full rack card squeezed into Instagram. They should feel like strong, clean, scroll-stopping social graphics.
Typography Direction
Use strong, clean block fonts for primary headlines.
The headline should be bold and readable, similar to the sports/fitness references.
Good structure:
WHAT’S BITING NOW
or
PRIVATE CHARTERS
or
BOOK YOUR TRIP
Use script-style text only as a small accent, not the main headline.
Example:
Main headline: WHAT’S BITING NOW Accent script: Redfish & Snook
Logo Direction
Use the Choose Wisely Fishing Charters logo cleanly.
Do not distort the logo.
Do not place it too close to the edge.
Avoid making it compete with the fish photo.
The logo can be placed:
Top left Top center Small footer area Over white space
Keep it readable.
Photo Direction
This is the most important part.
The photos should be treated carefully and intentionally.
Use:
Full natural fish photos when possible Clean crops that keep the fish fully visible Large fish-forward compositions Boat and water imagery Sunset catches Day and night contrast Real charter experience photos
Avoid:
Cutting off the fish awkwardly Covering the fish with text Stretching the fish Warping the fish Over-smoothing or over-filtering Placing fish at impossible angles Using generic fish illustrations when we have real photos
Again, these catches matter to the client. Treat the photos with care.
For the first batch, please create a small set of clean branded posts:
Post 1: What’s Biting Now
Photo: snook or redfish catch Headline: WHAT’S BITING NOW Subline: Redfish & Snook CTA: Call/Text 386-689-9056
Post 2: Private Charters
Photo: boat on water Headline: PRIVATE CHARTERS Subline: Inshore & Nearshore CTA: Book Your Trip
Post 3: Day or Night Trips
Photo: one day catch + one night catch, or just one strong hero photo Headline: DAY OR NIGHT Subline: Fishing Trips CTA: Call/Text 386-689-9056
Post 4: Redfish Running
Photo: redfish trophy catch Headline: REDFISH RUNNING Subline: Day & Night Trips CTA: 386-689-9056
Story/Reel Cover 1: Book Your Trip
Very simple. Hero photo + logo + phone number.
Story/Reel Cover 2: What’s Biting Now
Hero photo + short headline + phone number.
Blog / Content Tie-In
We are also building a blog system for him, so the social posts should be able to support blog topics later.
Potential blog/social themes:
What’s biting this month Redfish fishing in Central Florida Snook fishing trips Inshore vs. nearshore fishing charters What to bring on a fishing charter Day fishing vs. night fishing Best time to book a charter Family-friendly fishing charters Trophy redfish trips Fishing the intercoastal waterway
Social graphics can stay short, and captions/blogs can carry the detail.

Current Concept Feedback
The “What’s Biting Now” direction is probably closest to where I think we should go.
That idea works because it is simple:
Big photo
Short headline
Fish-focused
Clean blue and white layout
Light wave accents
Quick seasonal/fishing update feel
The “Redfish Running” idea is getting closer, but it is still a little too heavy and not quite clean enough yet.
The direction should move closer to the simple sports/fitness references:
Large bold type
Minimal wording
Clean image crop
One strong message
Not too many boxes or elements
No overcrowding
Post Style We Want
Each post should feel like one simple idea.
Examples:
Post Type 1: What’s Biting Now
Headline:
WHAT’S BITING NOW
Subline options:
Redfish & Snook
Inshore Action
Bull Redfish Running
Snook Season Is Heating Up
Use a large photo of the fish/catch and keep the text clean.
Post Type 2: Private Charters
Headline:
PRIVATE CHARTERS
Subline:
Inshore & Nearshore
or
Day & Night Trips Available
Use boat photo, water photo, or clean charter action shot.
Post Type 3: Day or Night Trips
Headline:
DAY OR NIGHT
Subline:
Fishing Trips
or
Chase the Bite Around the Clock
Could use one daytime photo and one nighttime photo, but keep it clean.
Post Type 4: Trophy Catch / Catch Feature
Headline:
CATCH OF THE WEEK
or
REDFISH RUNNING
or
SNOOK ON DECK
This should be very photo-led. Avoid heavy design over the fish.
Post Type 5: Booking CTA
Headline:
BOOK YOUR TRIP
Subline:
Chews Wisely Fishing Charters
CTA:
Call/Text 386-689-9056
Website:
chewswiselyfishingcharters.com
Copy Direction
Keep text very short.
Good examples:

Redfish & Snook
Inshore Action
Book Your Trip
Private Charters
Inshore & Nearshore
Day & Night Trips
Chase the Bite
Less Talk. More Fishing.

Final Direction
This client does not need loud, overbuilt graphics.
He needs:
Clean design. Strong fish photos. Blue and white branding. Wavy accents. Clear phone number. Minimal text.
Please treat the photos with extra care and make sure every fish placement looks natural, clean, and intentional.
The goal is to make him look professional, established, and easy to book while keeping the actual fishing experience front and center.
Please give me something to have him approve before you go all in.
